RICHARD EDWARDS

Affectionately known as "Prof", Richard Edwards made his Test debut at the age of 28 on the 1968-69 tour of Australia and New Zealand and enjoyed success on the second leg of the trip. He played 35 first-class matches, taking 78 wickets. After his short Test career, he continued to be involved in the game as an administrator, serving on the Barbados Cricket Association's board of management, curator at Kensington Oval and chairman of the Barbados selection panel
