REV SIR WES HALL

The first Chairman of the Cricket Legends of Barbados Inc., Wes Hall has had a deep involvement in cricket at every possible level, distinguishing himself as player, coach, manager, selector and regional board president. Outside of the sport, he was a Senator in the Upper House of the Barbados Parliament and subsequently a Member of Parliament in the Lower House, a Cabinet Minister with a number of portfolios, the holder of leading posts in corporate establishments and, now, an ordained pastor. He first toured with the West Indies – on the 1957 tour to England – before his 20th birthday, but didn't play on that trip. He made his Test debut on the 1958-59 tour of India and Pakistan in which he became the first West Indian to take a hat-trick in Test cricket.
