CAMMIE SMITH

An attacking opening batsman, Cammie Smith, like Peter Lashley, made his international debut in the famous Tied Test against Australia at the Gabba in 1960. He has made an immense contribution as administrator, serving as a West Indies team manager, WICB board member, president of the Barbados Cricket Association for which he was also the longest-standing treasurer. Smith was also a long-serving ICC match referee, officiating in 42 Tests and 118 ODIs between 1993 and 2002.
